Me molesta que Canal 13 censure capítulos de Los Simpsons. Hoy, por ejemplo, cortaron la mejor parte del capítulo en donde los Flanders se hacen cargo de Bart, Lisa y Maggie. Flanders, traumado por saber que los niños Simpsons no estaban bautizados, los lleva al río de la cuidad a bautizarlos el mismo. En el punto cúlmine del capítulo, cuando Flanders está a punto de derramar el agua bendita en la frente de Bart, aparece Homero corriendo colina abajo para evitar tal desastre, pero como es común, tropieza y cae cerro abajo logrando apartar a Bart del curso de la gota bendita y recibirla el en su brillante pelada. Lamentablemente en Canal 13 toda la última parte la cortaron: desde que Homero cae hasta que recibe el bautismo de Flanders.

Si se decidieron a comprar los derechos de Los Simpsons, deberían hacerse cargo que la serie no es tan católica/apostólica/romana como quisieran. Los Simpsons son los 21 minutos en su totalidad; si se le quita 1 segundo siquiera, la serie pierde sentido y razón de ser; si se le censura porque dijeron o hicieron algo que no sigue las “creencias” del canal, están destruyendo un producto de calidad superior.

p.s.: Mientra escribía esto estaban en comerciales entre un capítulo y otro. Cuando veo que el siguiente capítulo está empezando me alegro porque es uno de los mejores: “Bart vende su alma”. Grande es mi sorpresa cuando veo que LE CORTARON MÁS DE 5 MINUTOS! Toda el comienzo BUM! desapareció. Perdió toda trama, porque no se sabe por qué Bart perdió el alma. Ni siquiera se sabe que la perdió. Impresionante. Nunca pensé que fueran a censurar tanto un programa tan inofensivo. Creo que hay que hacer algo al respecto. Algún día cercano haré algo al respecto.

Me molesta demasiado que en los noticieros se entreviste a gente común y corriente. Me molesta que, por ejemplo, en una noticia sobre las previsiones sociales se le pregunte a un transeunte que está pasando por el Paseo Ahumada su opinión al respecto. Si yo estoy viendo un noticiaro es para informarme; para tener la opinión de expertos y formar mi juicio crítico. Pierdo el tiempo escuchando a la señora contando su experiencia personal. No me aporta ninguna información adicional y, además, me da vergüenza ajena verla hablando tonteras creyendo que habla cosas coherentes.

P.S.: Aprovechando este masivo medio (si yo no me creo el cuento…), hago un llamado a todos los noticieros del país (y del mundo hispanoparlante(BIS: si yo no me creo el cuento)) para que dejen esta práctica de lado y se centren en entrevistar a personas y personalidades que SI entreguen información relevante. Quizás debido a las 4 semanas de vacaciones de invierno/primavera o a la falta de comunicación con el mundo exterior (en parte debido al punto anterior), es que se me ocurrió la brillante idea de crear esto, un blog. El objetivo de esto, who knows. La gracia de esto, who knows. La utilidad de esto, who knows. Lo bueno de esto, who knows. Es de esperar que poco a poco estas preguntas se respondan. Para bien o para mal, pero que se respondan.

Por si alguien se está preguntando en estos precisos momentos: ¿ Y este tipo (se me olvidó decirlo, pero si, soy tipo) sobre qué escribirá?, lamento decirle que no tengo la respuesta. Es tan sharsha el redactor de este blog que ni él sabe la razón de ser de este espacio. De todas maneras creo que la primera razón de ser de esto es el aburrimiento de las vacaciones; la necesidad de hacer algo y de sentirse útil (que estúpido yo: en el párrafo anterior digo que no se la finalidad de esto y ahora estoy dando razones de ser de este blog).

Espero crear un espacio que sea interesante. No se para qué o para quién, pero que lo sea.
